Product Overview
The C.H. Hanson 61101 water pump pliers are a 10-inch adjustable hand tool featuring a 7-position slip joint mechanism for gripping and turning various objects. These pliers are constructed from drop-forged, precision-heat treated steel for durability and are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. They are equipped with smooth jaws, designed to provide a secure grip on workpieces without marring surfaces, and Soft Grip handles for enhanced user comfort. The maximum parallel jaw opening is 2-1/8 inches. Often referred to as groove joint or tongue and groove pliers, they are suitable for plumbing, automotive, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks, handling nuts, bolts, pipes, and irregularly shaped components. The pliers also feature a bolt and nut assembly to allow for field tension adjustment.
