Electric Radial Winches let you trim a sail of any size with the push of a button. Easily convert manual Radials to electric or hydraulic power. They don t require an adapter plate, and identical stud patterns mean no new holes to drill. Motors attach to the central drive shaft and drive through the winch gears for two-speed mechanical advantage low power first gear for fast trimming, higher-powered second gear for fine-tuning loaded sheets. This results in lower battery drain and a more efficient motor. You will also need wire, two switches and a circuit breaker. We recommend adding an optional load controller to protect your winches from overload. Match wire size to the size of the winch, system voltage, and wire length. Harken offers five high-amperage, waterproof circuit breakers.
