Retractable seals
HAWA JUNIOR ACOUSTICS Seal kits are automatic concealed retractable seals mounted horizontally at the top and bottom of the door. Seal kits provide sound attenuation and resist unwanted drafts, odors, and light. Seals are installed recessed the full width of the door, closing the gap between the upper track and the floor. Seals are triggered by the door stopper at the top and the floor guide at the bottom. The bottom seal includes an aluminum channel for its floor mounted guide.

- Sound attenuation effect up to 35 dB for wall mount sliding doors
- Sound attenuation effect up to 41 dB for pocket doors
- Suitable for door thickness of 44 to 50 mm (1-3/4 to 2 in)
- Compatible with the Hawa Junior 100 B and the Porta 60/100 HMD & HMT series
- Select from 8 different seal kits for different door widths and sliding directions (left or right)
- The seal is flexible and will conform to the shape of the floor
- Can used for pocket door and wall mount sliding applications
IMPORTANT: Use metric dimensions for greater accuracy during installation. The level of sound attenuation depends upon the use of vertical seals and the construction of the door and walls. Cut a groove 23 mm (29/32 in) x 30 mm (1-3/16 in) into the bottom of the door and 31 mm (1-7/32 in) x 30 mm (1-3/6 in) into the top of the door. Refer to the mounting instructions for more information.
