This Heritage Plastics South Inc. PVC-800BE pipe is a Schedule 40 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, featuring an 8-inch nominal pipe size (NPS) and a 20-foot length. It incorporates a bell end for direct solvent-weld connections, facilitating installation by eliminating the need for separate couplings for straight runs. The pipe is manufactured to meet ASTM D1785 standards, making it suitable for water distribution, irrigation, and various residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing applications. For sizes 1-1/4 inches and larger, it is also typically dual-rated to ASTM D2665 for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) applications. Constructed from PVC, it offers strength, rigidity, and resistance to many acids, bases, and salts, with a maximum operating temperature of 140°F (60°C). Its smooth interior walls contribute to maintaining flow rates and reducing mineral deposit
