The HES 8300 Series electric strike body, model 8300-LBM, is a fire-rated, concealed solution designed for access control applications with cylindrical locksets. This body-only unit operates on dual voltage 12/24V DC/VAC and is designed for installation without requiring cutting into the door frame, fitting standard ANSI 4-7/8" preps. Constructed with all-stainless steel internal components, it offers 1,500 lbs of static strength, 70 ft-lbs dynamic strength, and is rated for 1,000,000 cycles. It accommodates cylindrical latchbolts up to 5/8" throw and features a latchbolt monitor (LBM) for status feedback. The HES 8300 series is ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 compliant, UL 10C fire-rated for 3-hour single door (fail-secure only), UL 1034 burglary-resistant, and meets NFPA 80-07 guidelines for retrofit into fire-rated frames.
