The HES 9400 Series Surface Mounted Electric Strike with Latchbolt Monitor (LBM), model 9400-LBM-606, is designed for use with rim exit devices that feature up to a 1/2-inch Pullman latch. This electric strike operates on dual voltage 12 or 24 VDC, with field-selectable fail secure or fail safe operation. Encased in a 9/16-inch thick stainless steel housing, it measures 9 inches high by 1-3/4 inches wide and is finished in Satin Brass (US4/606). It offers 1,500 lbs of static strength, 70 ft-lbs of dynamic strength, and an endurance of 1,000,000 cycles. The HES 9400 Series is non-handed, outdoor rated, and UL 1034 burglary-resistant listed. It complies with ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 standards and is UL 294, UL 305, and RoHS compliant. Installation requires no cutting of the door frame, and an 1/8-inch spacer plate is included to accommodate varying door gaps. The Latchbolt Monitor (LBM) provides feedback on the latchbolt's engagement with the strike keeper. This product is manufactured by HES, an ASSA ABLOY Group company.
