The HES 9400-LBSM-612 is a slim-line, surface-mounted electric strike designed for rim exit devices with up to a 1/2-inch Pullman latchbolt. It features a Latchbolt Strike Monitor (LBSM) for comprehensive door status monitoring, detecting both latchbolt and strike lip positions. The unit is constructed from stainless steel with a 5/8-inch thick housing and finished in satin bronze. It is field selectable for 12 or 24 VDC operation and supports fail-safe or fail-secure configurations. This non-handed electric strike is UL 1034 listed for burglary resistance and suitable for outdoor use, UL 294, UL 305 listed, and exceeds ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 standards for strength and performance, offering 1,500 lbs static strength, 70 ft-lbs dynamic strength, and an endurance of 1 million cycles. No cutting of the door frame is required for installation, and it comes with a 1/8-inch spacer plate for adjusting to varying door gaps.
