The HES 9500 Series electric strike is a 3-hour fire-rated, surface-mounted device designed for use with rim exit devices and a 3/4" Pullman latch. Constructed from 3/4" thick stainless steel, this unit accommodates installations in both metal and wood frames without requiring any cutting. It operates on a field-selectable 12 or 24 VDC power supply, offering both fail-secure and fail-safe functionality. The integrated Latchbolt Strike Monitor (LBSM) provides real-time status of both the latchbolt and the strike. Exceeding ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 standards, it boasts a static strength of 1,500 lbs and an endurance of 1,000,000 cycles. It is non-handed, features horizontal adjustability, and is certified UL 10C for 3-hour fire ratings (fail-secure), UL 1034 burglary-resistant, UL 294, UL 305, NFPA 80-07 compliant, and RoHS compliant. The unit is finished in Satin Brass (606).
