Product Overview
The HES 9500 Series 9500-LBSM electric strike is a 3-hour fire-rated, surface-mounted device constructed from stainless steel, designed for use with rim exit devices that have up to a 3/4 inch Pullman latch. It operates on 12 or 24 VDC, field selectable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation. This model includes a Latchbolt Strike Monitor (LBSM) to detect when the latchbolt and strike are in a locked state. The non-handed unit installs on metal or wood frames without requiring frame cutting due to its compact 3/4 inch thick housing. It meets ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 standards, is UL 10C 3-hour fire-rated, UL 1034 burglary-resistant, and RoHS compliant. The strike features 1,500 lbs static strength, 70 ft-lbs dynamic strength, an endurance of 1,000,000 cycles, and a Bronze Toned finish.
