Product Overview
The HES 9500-LBSM electric strike is a surface-mounted security device from the 9500 Series, designed for use with rim exit devices on outswing doors. This model operates on dual voltage 12 or 24 VDC and features Latchbolt & Strike Monitoring (LBSM) for real-time door status feedback. Constructed from bright stainless steel (629 finish), it is UL 10C 3-hour fire-rated (fail secure only) for fire door assemblies and UL 1034 listed as burglary-resistant. It is non-handed, field selectable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation, and accommodates up to a 3/4 inch Pullman latchbolt. With a Grade 1 ANSI/BHMA A156.31 rating, static strength of 1,500 lbs, and endurance of 1 million cycles, the strike's 3/4 inch thick housing requires no cutting on the door frame for installation.
