Product Overview
The HES 9500-LBSM (MPN 9500-LBSM-630) is a surface-mounted electric strike from the HES 9500 Series, designed to accommodate rim exit devices with up to a 3/4-inch throw Pullman latchbolt. Constructed from stainless steel, this unit operates on dual voltage 12/24VDC and offers field-selectable fail-safe or fail-secure operation. It is 3-hour UL 10C fire-rated (fail-secure only) and complies with NFPA 80-07 guidelines for fire-rated frame retrofit. The strike is ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 certified, UL 1034 burglary-resistant listed, UL 294 listed, and UL 305 listed. It includes a latchbolt strike monitor (LBSM) and has a static strength of 1,500 lbs, a dynamic strength of 70 ft-lbs, and an endurance rating of 1,000,000 cycles. The 3/4-inch thick housing allows for installation on metal or wood frames without requiring frame modification. It features a satin stainless steel finish.
