Product Overview
The HES 9600 Series Electric Strike (9600-LBM) with Latchbolt Monitor is a surface-mounted device designed for access control applications, accommodating rim exit devices with up to a 3/4-inch Pullman latchbolt. Constructed from stainless steel, its components are fully encased within a 3/4-inch thick housing, eliminating the need for cutting the door frame during installation. This electric strike is field-selectable for both fail-safe and fail-secure operation and supports dual voltage at 12 or 24 VDC. It features horizontal adjustability and is non-handed for versatile installation on metal or wood frames. The 9600 Series is ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 compliant, UL listed for burglary resistance (UL 1034, 294, 305), windstorm rated (ANSI/SDI 250.13), and offers a static strength of 2,000 lbs, dynamic strength of 120 ft-lbs, and an endurance rating of 1,000,000 cycles. It is finished in bright brass (605).
