Product Overview
The Hillman 853172 Box Rail Double Splice Bracket is designed to join sections of box rail for heavy-duty sliding door systems, commonly used with barn doors. Constructed from steel with a galvanized finish, it provides corrosion resistance for both interior and exterior applications. This adjustable face mount bracket allows for positioning the rail closer to or further from the building and supports a safe working load of 450 pounds. It is typically installed 1-1/16 inches down from the top of the barn door and is ideal for installations on corrugated metal-sided structures. Mounting hardware, including lag bolts, carriage bolts, and nuts, is commonly supplied.
