The Hillman Fasteners 260051 plow bolt is a specialized fastener engineered for heavy-duty applications in agricultural, construction, and earth-moving machinery. This Grade 5 plow bolt is manufactured from hardened medium carbon steel, quenched and tempered, providing a minimum tensile strength of 120,000 psi and a proof load of 85,000 psi. It features a No. 3 head, characterized by a flat, countersunk oval profile and a square neck directly beneath the head, which prevents rotation when installed in a corresponding square hole. This design ensures the bolt sits flush with the surface, minimizing obstruction and wear. The bolt has coarse 7/16"-14 UNC threads and measures 1-3/4 inches in length. It comes with a black finish and is supplied in a box of 50 units.
