Product Overview
The Hillman Fasteners 41644 XL-SDS is a zinc-plated carbon steel self-drilling screw with a hex washer head. Measuring #8 in diameter and 1-1/4" in length, this fastener features a 1/4" hex drive. Equipped with a #2 or #3 drill point, it is designed to create its own pilot hole and mating threads in a single operation, eliminating the need for pre-drilling. This makes it suitable for efficient fastening in metal-to-metal connections, thin gauge steel, and sheet metal applications. The hex washer head provides a broad bearing surface and facilitates high torque driving. These screws are supplied in a pack of 50.
