The Hillman Fasteners model 47693 is a #6 diameter, 1-5/8 inch long deck screw designed for outdoor construction projects. Constructed from hardened steel, it features a Phillips bugle head drive for easy installation and flush seating. The galvanized finish provides corrosion protection suitable for exterior applications, including use with ACQ, CA, and CCA treated lumber, exceeding 250-hour salt spray tests. This finish may cause staining in cedar or redwood. Its sharp point and coarse threads allow for easy penetration, often eliminating the need for pre-drilling, and ensure strong holding power. These screws are supplied in a 5 lb box and are backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
