Product Overview
The Hillman Fas-N-Tite Drywall Screw is designed for efficiently securing drywall panels to both wood and metal studs. Constructed from carbon steel, this #6 diameter, 2-inch long fastener features a coarse thread for strong holding power and reduced splitting in material. It has a bugle head style that sits flush with the surface, often with a textured underside to enhance drywall compound adhesion. The screw is finished with a black phosphate coating, which provides corrosion resistance and improves the adhesion of paint and joint compound. Installation typically requires a #2 Phillips drive bit. This product is supplied in a 1-pound box.
