The Hillman Fasteners Power Pro Premium Exterior Wood Screw, identified by mfr code 48606V4, is a #8 diameter, 1-1/2 inch long steel fastener designed for outdoor construction. It features a corrosion-resistant bronze ceramic or epoxy coating, providing superior protection against rust and corrosion, including compatibility with treated lumber (ACQ rated). The screw incorporates a T20 Star drive to minimize cam-out and a flat head with countersinking blades for a flush finish. Its Borefast thread design includes a self-drilling point and a twist shank, which reduces wood splitting and eliminates the need for pre-drilling in most wood applications. This product is suitable for decking, fencing, and other exterior wood projects and comes in a 5 lb box, containing approximately 1015 pieces for this size. It is ICC-approved for corrosion resistance (ESL-1284) and carries a limited lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion.
