Product Overview
The Hillman Power Pro Structural Lag Screw, MPN 48931, is engineered from Grade 5 carbon steel for heavy-duty wood construction applications. This 1/4" diameter, 2" long fastener features a low-profile dome head with an imprinted depth code for post-installation inspection, and a star drive for secure torque application. Its bronze epoxy coating provides corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use with ACQ and other treated lumber in both indoor and outdoor environments. The screw is designed with a self-drilling Type 17 point and serrated threads, enabling faster installation without the need for pre-drilling. It is ICC-ESR-4017 and AC257 Treated Lumber Certified, meeting various building code requirements. This product is typically supplied in a box containing 50 pieces.
