The Hillman 48932 Power Pro Structural Lag Screw is a building code-approved carbon steel fastener designed for heavy-duty structural wood applications, serving as an alternative to standard lag screws. Measuring 1/4 inch in diameter and 3 inches in length, it features a low-profile dome head with an imprinted depth code for post-installation inspection, and utilizes a star drive for efficient installation. This screw is equipped with a self-drilling Type 17 point and a serrated thread start, eliminating the need for pre-drilling. Its multi-layer bronze epoxy coating provides corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use with ACQ treated lumber. The product is ICC ESR-4017 and AC257 certified, and compliant with various international and regional building codes. Each box contains 50 structural lag screws.
