The Hillman Power Pro Structural Lag Screw (MPN 48943) is a 5/16" diameter by 3" length carbon steel fastener designed for structural wood-to-wood connections. It features a low-profile dome head with a T30 Star Drive recess and a multi-layer bronze epoxy coating for corrosion resistance and compatibility with ACQ treated lumber. The patented design incorporates a diamond shank, innovative thread, and self-drilling Type 17 point with serrated threads, allowing for installation without pre-drilling. This Grade 5 strength screw is building code approved, holding ICC ESR-4017 and AC257 certifications, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is supplied in a box of 40.
