The Hillman Fasteners Deck Plus Deck Screw (mfr code: 49007) is a #10 diameter, 2-1/2" long fastener made from carbon steel, supplied in a 5 lb box. It features a brown 4-layer epoxy coating that provides superior rust and corrosion protection, making it suitable for exterior wood, composite, and trim applications, including use with ACQ, CA, and CCA treated lumber. The flat head style sits flush with the material, while the self-drilling point and coarse threads eliminate the need for pilot holes. Equipped with a Star (Torx) drive, this screw is designed to reduce slippage and camout during installation. The product includes a limited lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion.
