This Hillman Fasteners Power Pro structural timber screw, MPN 49108, is a 1/4" diameter by 6" long heavy-duty fastener designed for wood-to-wood construction. Constructed from carbon steel with an epoxy-coated finish, it provides corrosion resistance and is compatible with ACQ-treated lumber. Featuring a hex washer head and hex drive, this screw is engineered with a dual-lead thread and Type 17 point with serrated threads, eliminating the need for pre-drilling. It serves as a strong alternative to traditional lag screws and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor structural applications such as decks, fences, landscape walls, and post-and-beam construction.
