The Hillman Power Pro Ledger-Tite Structural Wood Screw (MPN 49116) is designed for securely fastening deck ledger boards to rim joists. Constructed from Grade 5 carbon steel, these 5/16-inch diameter by 3-5/8-inch long screws feature a hex washer head and a hex drive for high torque application. They incorporate a proprietary multi-layer epoxy coating that provides corrosion resistance, making them suitable for use with ACQ and other treated lumber. The Type 17 self-drilling point and serrated dual lead threads eliminate the need for pre-drilling and reduce installation time, while the diamond shank minimizes drive friction. These screws are ICC ESR-4017 and AC257 certified for building code compliance, ensuring a reliable connection without splitting the wood. Each box contains 45 screws.
