Product Overview
This Hillman Fasteners Power Pro Lumber-Tite 49131 structural wood screw is engineered from carbon steel with a black multi-layer epoxy coating, providing corrosion resistance and compatibility with ACQ treated lumber. Designed for wood-to-wood connections, it measures 1/4 inch in diameter and 7 inches in length. It features a low profile flat head with an imprinted depth code for easy inspection and a star drive (T25) recess for enhanced torque transfer. The screw incorporates a self-drilling Type 17 point with serrated threads, eliminating the need for pre-drilling in most applications. Rated for Grade 5 strength, it includes a diamond shank to reduce driving friction. This fastener is evaluated under ICC-ES ESR-4017 and is AC257 treated lumber certified, meeting International Building Code (IBC) and International Residential Code (IRC) requirements for structural applications. It is supplied in a box of 45 pieces.
