Product Overview
This Hillman Group model 5109 ribbed plastic anchor is designed for light-duty fastening applications in various construction materials. Constructed from nylon, it measures 1/4" in diameter and 1-1/2" in length. The anchor is suitable for use in drywall, plaster, brick, block, and concrete, and is corrosion-resistant. Its ribbed exterior prevents rotation during installation, and the anchor expands as the screw is tightened to provide a secure grip. A pre-drilled pilot hole is required for proper installation. Each pack includes four 1-1/2" pan head Phillips sheet metal screws, compatible with #12 to #16 gauge. The anchor provides a holding capacity of up to 10 lbs in drywall and 50 lbs in concrete.
