Product Overview
The Hillman Fasteners #70810 is a pan head sheet metal screw, also known as a tapping screw, designed for securing various materials. Constructed from steel, these screws often feature a zinc-plated finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. They measure #8 in diameter and are 1/2 inch in length. The pan head has a slightly rounded top with a flat bearing surface underneath. Its square drive, also referred to as Robertson drive, provides self-centering capability and helps reduce cam-out during installation.
