Before repairing a propeller, make sure the hub is in good shape. You would replace the hub first if it were defective. Because this operation necessitates a large deal of pressure, caution should be exercised to avoid harm. Several lubricants are effective. Any lubricant used must be water-soluble and include no petroleum additives. The petroleum additives will cause the rubber to degrade and fail.
