Product Overview
HMS Hub 10 spline (VS-42) is made to fit into the propeller hub with minimum strain while remaining highly resistant to spin slippage. It acts as a shock absorber between the prop blades and the shaft. A quality prop hub that maintains the propeller perfectly centered on the prop shaft reduces vibrations and protects the shaft from the severe shock of hitting something underwater. Key Features: By cushioning the shock of the propeller strike, this device protects lower unit parts. It prevents excessive shear or drives pin breakage that would otherwise occur due to the jolt or shock experienced when shifting gears. Enhances longevity while safeguarding the engine's drive train from damage. For use with Force, 25 HP 1995-newer. It fits Mercury 9.9-25 HP nut on AFT end of hub. 1980-current manufacture propellers.
