The Homewerks Worldwide 517MA3812 nylon male adapter facilitates the connection of 3/8-inch inner diameter (ID) flexible tubing to a 1/2-inch Male National Pipe Thread (NPT) connection. Constructed from durable nylon, this fitting is designed for fluid transfer systems, including condensate drain lines, irrigation setups, and water filtration systems, and is suitable for both air and non-potable water applications in low to moderate pressure environments. The barbed end is intended for insertion into flexible hoses or tubing, requiring a stainless steel hose clamp (sold separately) to ensure a secure, watertight seal. The NPT end connects to rigid pipe or threaded ports, for which a thread sealant or PTFE tape is recommended during installation. Each adapter is individually packaged.
