Product Overview
Automatic Air Vent purges air from high pressure mains and equipment in hot or cold closed water systems. Includes removable float/valve assembly for easy servicing. Not for use in steam systems.
- Designed with the higher capacity normally required by North American heating systems
- Valve seat disc, which is made of resilient material (EPDM), ensures tight shutoff on steam or hot water systems
- Controls include sensor, set-point dial and valve actuator; components may be integral or connected by capillary tubes
- Require no electrical connections
- Body, cover and float made of thermoplastics
- Used in residential or commercial heating and cooling systems
- NBR seat disc and O-ring
- Internal parts made of corrosion resistant and chemical resistant materials
- For use with hydronic systems that may contain concentrations of propylene or etheylene glycol
- Built-in shut-off valve and leakage guard
