CRL Hot Melt Butyl 3 LB Cakes are easy-to-use in CRL SS96, SS88, Aztech ATXM1, and ATX11 dispensing systems. It is packaged in coated release boxes (16 boxes per case), and can be easily inserted into dispensers with smaller melting pots. Recommended application temperature of 350°F - 400°F (177°C - 205°C).
Insulating glass units made with CRL3070 Series Hot Melt Butyl have great structural adhesion with a low residual tack, low argon permeability, and an exceptionally low moisture vapor transfer rate. Formulated to exceed ASTM E2188, E2189, E2190 (HIGS) specifications.
NOTE: Hot Melt Butyl is dispensed at operating temperatures of 350°F (177°C). Wear the proper safety gear including gloves, arm guards, and protective eyewear to avoid burns and other injuries.
