The CRL HMCST2 Hot Melt Clamp Table has heavy-duty tubular steel construction. The HMCST2 consists of a CRL 84" x 84" (2.13 x 2.13 m) Ball Caster Table and a pair of air actuated padded clamp rails. The table's 2" (51 mm) diameter ball casters are spaced 6" (152 mm) apart. A foot actuated clamping system frees the operators' hands for positioning of the IG package while holding an edge sealant gun. To use, the operator positions an IG package (glass and spacer) on top of the table with one edge beneath the padded clamping rails. The foot pedal is then depressed to actuate the clamping mechanism, moving both the upper and lower clamping rails position, securing the glass and spacer along one edge for sealant application. The foot pedal is then used to release the clamping unit, and the IG package is rotated and re-clamped to complete the seal on each side. You can also shift and re-clamp IG package sides longer than 84" (2.13 m) to complete their seal. The HMCST2 requires a compressed air supply capable of delivering 1 cfm @ 50psi (0.02cm@ 3.4atm). It ships KD to reduce freight expense, therefore some assembly required.
