Product Overview
The Howes HL306206 Diesel Treat is a 1-quart (32 oz) fuel additive engineered to prevent diesel fuel gelling in cold weather. This conditioner lowers the Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) of base fuel by an average of 20 degrees, ensuring reliable engine operation in low temperatures. It is formulated to be safe and effective for use in all diesel and biodiesel blends up to B-20. Beyond anti-gelling, it enhances lubricity for injectors, pumps, and upper cylinders, which is particularly beneficial for Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD). The petroleum-based formula safely demulsifies and removes water, prevents injector deposits, increases power and fuel economy, and helps eliminate smoking and rough idle. It contains no alcohol or harmful solvents and is particulate filter friendly and warranty safe. Treatment ratios are 1 ounce per 5 gallons above 0°F and 1 ounce per 2.5 gallons below 0°F.
