HTH Spa Metal Out (MPN 86246) is a concentrated liquid treatment designed to prevent and control stains, discoloration, and scale caused by dissolved metals in spa and hot tub water. This formula effectively sequesters metals such as iron, copper, and manganese, keeping them in solution to prevent deposition on surfaces and equipment. Intended for use at initial spa fill-up and with subsequent refills, it helps maintain water clarity and protect spa components. It is compatible with various sanitizing systems, including chlorine, bromine, mineral, ozone, and biguanide. Each 1-pint (16 fluid ounce) bottle treats up to 500 gallons of spa water and contains etidronic acid as an active ingredient.
