The Hultafors 101204U Engineer's Folding Ruler is a precision measuring tool manufactured from downy birch wood with Swedish steel joints. Designed for engineering applications, this 78-inch ruler features an engineering scale with 1/10th and 1/100th of a foot graduations, alongside a traditional 1/16 inch scale. The engineering scale is typically found on the inside surfaces, with the inch scale on the outside surfaces. It is coated with a water-based protective lacquer to enhance resistance against dirt and moisture. The steel joints are heat-treated, coated, and oiled at three points to ensure flexibility and sustained performance. Each folding rule is individually inspected for accuracy.
