The Hultafors 101404U folding ruler is a 78-inch measuring tool constructed from downy birch wood with Swedish steel joints. Each section is coated with a water-based protective lacquer to enhance resistance against dirt and moisture. The steel joints are heat-treated, coated, and oiled at three points to ensure flexibility and consistent performance. This ruler features a traditional 1/16-inch imperial scale with black and red markings on both sides, including red stud center markings every 16 inches for framing applications. Manufactured in Sweden, each ruler undergoes inspection to ensure accuracy and is part of a manufacturing process certified to ISO 9001 standards.
