Product Overview
The Central locking device is a complete set ready to be installed on two-drawer cabinet.
Designed with safety in mind. Its main function prevents multiple drawers to be opened one after the other, this safety feature creates a perfect anti-tilt system.
Advantages And Benefits
- The anti-tip system ensures the opening of one drawer at the time outside of the tipping point.
- Closed drawers are stabilizing the unit to prevent tipping.
- Locks multiple drawers with a single lock.
- The locking side bar can be cut to any length.
Important Information
**This installation guide shows the central locking system with lock bars used in a lay-on application. This requires use of office drawer slides which provide space for the lock bar to be fitted without a groove. If your drawer slide does not permit this, then you must mill a groove to recess the lock bar into the side panel. Alternatively, please ask your Richelieu sales contact to supply you with office grade slides.**
For each additional drawer, please increase the following components:
- Anti-tilt block, right side (1600402090): one piece per drawer
- Anti-tilt block, left side (1600403090): one piece per drawer
- Adjustable pin with securing screw (1600702G): two pieces per drawer
- Security screw (1600802G): two pieces per drawer
