Type 2 UL stove boards are UL-1618 listed for thermal and ember protection. Protect the floors in front of, around, and below the stove from intense heat, embers, hot coals, ashes, and soot. Use these stove boards under heating appliances that require thermal protection such as wood burning stoves and coal stoves. Check the owner's manual from the appliance for floor protection requirements. Certified safe to use on the wall in order to reduce the clearances necessary for installations when used with ULSK UL wall spacer kit.
