Product Overview
The IC-M510 EVO: A Versatile and Stylish VHF Marine Transceiver with AIS The IC-M510 EVO is a sleek and multifunctional VHF marine transceiver that introduces advanced smartphone-operated technology. Designed with built-in Class D DSC, it ensures reliable maritime communication and enhances safety while at sea. The integration of NMEA 2000 connectivity and two-way hailer/RX hailer features further enriches your onboard experience. Effortless remote operation via a smart device offers a new level of convenience for communication onboard. Additionally, the unit boasts a vivid color display, navigation capabilities, and a refined design earning the prestigious iF Design Award. Ideal for use in pleasure boats, fishing vessels, sailboats, as well as rescue and public safety applications. NMEA 2000 and Powerful 25 W Two-Way Hailer/20 W RX Hailer Now Included The NMEA 2000 network allows seamless, plug-and-play communication with other marine electronics, including a Multi-Function Display (MFD). The radio can transmit essential data such as GNSS (GPS) position, AIS details*, DSC calls, and channel information to interconnected equipment. By pairing with the optional SP-37 speaker horn (sold separately), you can conveniently communicate with the crew on the deck or ashore via the radio s microphone, with their responses broadcast through the horn speaker. The RX hailer function lets you monitor radio traffic on the deck or tower through the hailer speaker. Additionally, the system can emit pre-set foghorn patterns through the speaker. Remote Control & Intercom Functionality Via Smart Devices The RS-M500 app (for iOS/Android) enables wireless control of the IC-M510 EVO through the radio s built-in Wi-Fi capability. This app allows up to three smart devices to function as a wireless microphone, intercom, or a remote control for select features, ensuring seamless onboard communication. High-Visibility Color TFT LCD With Wide Viewing Angle The color TFT LCD display offers nearly a 180-degree viewing angle, making it easy to read from different positions. The screen provides crisp, high-resolution text and function icons. A long press of the DISP key activates Night mode, improving visibility in dim conditions. Built-in Class D DSC Emergency Distress" Button Can Save Lives In an emergency, pressing the DISTRESS" button enables the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system to digitally send distress signals to the Coast Guard and nearby vessels. Additionally, the DSC watch function continuously monitors channel 70, enhancing safety and security onboard. Enhanced Audio With a Built-in 15 W Speaker The radio s waterproof speaker delivers strong and clear audio, ensuring you hear communications with ease, even in challenging marine environments. Integrated AIS Receiver for Real-Time Vessel Monitoring Equipped with an integrated AIS receiver or external NMEA sentence support, the IC-M510 provides real-time AIS vessel traffic updates directly on the display. From the AIS screen, you can initiate individual DSC calls to selected AIS targets, making maritime communication more efficient.
