- Before purchasing Model 1216: Please note that lever handle for exterior door is only a compatible replacement for storm door handles that have four location posts; if your existing handle has two location posts and an anchor screw, you will need to purchase model 1215 from Ideal Security
- Included Deadbolt Lock: Screen door handle locks with a deadbolt instead of an inside latch; for a handle set with a locking inside latch, look for sets that use Ideal Security’s WC or SK10 inside latches
- Straightforward Installation: When replacing an existing handle, the screw posts for the handle must be 1-3/4" apart; for new installations, you’ll need a 7/8-inch spade bore drill bit (not included)
- Package Includes: All components needed for replacing existing handles; screws and spindles to fit doors from 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick, an entry lever door handle, SK357 interior latch, a keyed deadbolt, and two keys; if your doors are thicker than 1 1/2 inches, you can purchase the SP1216V1ZP screw pack which has screws and spindles for doors up to 2 1/8 inches thick

The deluxe storm door hardware set from Ideal Security includes an elegant lever handle, an interior latch, and a keyed deadbolt with two keys. It is compatible with most pre-installed surface mount handles and will complement a wide range of décor styles. The easy-to-operate handle replaces the basic push-button handle that may already be on your screen door, adding a touch of elegance and class. The interior latch features an easy opening push movement, ensuring smooth and effortless operation. This set includes everything you need for an easy installation. However, please note that the screw posts for the handle must be 1-3/4" apart when replacing an existing handle. For new installations, a 7/8-inch hole for the keylock will be required. The spindle for the deadlock can be cut to fit your installation.
