Ideal Security’s Quick-Hold Storm Door Closer With Torsion Bar offers strengthened support to heavier aluminum, steel, or wood storm doors. This pneumatic storm door closer is easy to install and the ideal replacement for other storm door closers with torsion bars. Its intuitive quick-hold functionality allows you to keep your door held open; gently push until you hear a click, and your storm door will be securely held open. With another push, your storm door will shut, and the tension bar will ensure extra and firm closing force to keep your storm door sturdy against the elements. You can use the air adjustment screw to regulate the speed your door closes at. The Quick-Hold Storm Door Closer With Torsion Bar can either be used to replace previous storm door closers that use torsion bars or implemented as a new first-time installation. If it is being used as a replacement, ensure that you install it at the same location as the existing or previous unit. If it is a first-time installation, you can place the storm door closer at the top, middle, or bottom of your storm door.
