Ideal Security's Heavy Duty Pneumatic Door Closer with Torsion Bar and Door Chain for security storm doors or screen doors offers silent and secure closing to heavy aluminum, steel, or wood security doors. Compatible with door thicknesses ranging from 1 1/2" to 2", this pneumatic screen door closer is both easily installable and conveniently customizable to your preferences. The speed adjustment screw offers capabilities for adjustable, automatic door closer strength, and the jamb bracket allows for seasonal adjustment closing strength.
The Heavy Security Door Closer with Torsion Bar and Door Chain can either be used to replace previous closers on your security storm door or screen door, or implemented as a new first-time installation. If it is being used as a replacement, ensure that you install it at the same location as the existing or previous unit.
The added screen door chain provides added protection to your door against excessive winds, preventing it from swinging too far or too quickly.
