The Ideal Security AJ Lever Handle Set is a surface-mount replacement handle for out-swinging storm and screen doors 1" to 2-1/8" thick. Featuring a sleek, modern lever with a matching interior latch, this handle is easier to operate than basic push-button styles and complements the look of many prime entry doors. It is a non-locking handle: the interior latch opens the door but does not provide security, so it should be used only where a lock is not required.
The AJ handle installs with standard 1-3/4" hole spacing and is compatible with both left- and right-handed doors. Replacement installation is simple: remove 2 screws, swap the handle, and reinstall. For new doors, drill 3 standard holes and ensure the interior latch does not interfere with your main entry handle.
Each package includes a lever handle, interior latch, screws and spindle, surface-mount strike plate, shims, and instructions.
