Ideal Security BKGLKORB Keyed Deadbolt, Oil Rubbed Bronze

Ideal Security's keyed deadbolt lock for out-swinging storm and screen doors complements the appearance of GL series lever handles while adding a layer of security. This is not a high security lock, but a secondary level of security. Having a keyed deadbolt on your storm or screen door allows you to lock your storm door as you leave the home, and unlock it if someone inside has locked the door. It also allows you to keep your main door wide open to add light or ventilation into your home while feeling secure. This keyed deadbolt is made of die-cast zinc and painted or coated to match the color of the Ideal Security's storm door handles. Installing the deadbolt is straightforward and should take about 20 minutes. Only three 5/16" holes are required to be drilled through the door for the screws and spindle; a tape measure, drill, and a screwdriver are required. The set includes: outside key cylinder escutcheon, inside deadbolt with thumb turn, screws, and spindles for doors 1" to 2-1/8" thick, a surface-mount strike plate, two deadbolt shims, and two keys. The spindle can be cut to the length required. Additional key blanks (KBSK1215) are also available for purchase.
