Nortek Security & Control is now offering a retrofit package for the thousands of Max3 PC-based access control systems in the field.
The retrofit Max3 Take Over Module allows integrators to remove the inner electronics of an existing Max Series system and easily mount an e3-Series Access Control system to the Max3 backplane mounting holes and hardware. This allows integrators to modernize an existing system without having to remove the existing mounted housing that is already wired for access points, power source, or has a cabinet locking mechanism that the customer wishes to retain
