The Imperial USA ED-F801-AL 800 Series rim type panic exit device is designed for commercial and industrial doors, providing emergency egress. It meets ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 standards, indicating high durability with a 500,000-cycle operational life, and is UL Listed for Fire Exit hardware for up to 3 hours (UL 305 & UL10C). The device features a non-handed, reversible design for flexible installation. Internal components are constructed from high rust-resistant alloy or heavily electroplated steel to protect against corrosion. It includes a stainless steel latch bolt with a 3/4" throw and a stainless steel deadbolt, complemented by a 600 Rigid Strike. Standard dogging is a 1/2 turn hex key, with CLD2 available. This device accommodates doors 1-3/4" to 2" thick, and is compatible with door widths of 24", 36" (standard), and 48". It requires a minimum stile width of 3-35/64" (90mm) and mounts at 41" from centerline to finished floor. The push bar projects 2-9/16" (65mm) in a neutral position and 1-7/8" (48mm) when depressed. Finishes available include Aluminum (AL) and Satin Stainless Steel (US32D).
