Product Overview
The Imperial USA ED-F801XL-AL 800 Series is a Grade 1 rim type panic exit device designed for commercial and industrial doors, providing reliable emergency egress. It is UL Listed for Fire Exit Hardware up to 3 hours, certified to UL 305 and UL10C standards, and meets ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 for durability and performance. Internal components are constructed from high rust-resistant alloy or heavily electroplated steel, featuring a stainless steel latch bolt with a 3/4-inch throw and a stainless steel deadbolt. The device is non-handed and reversible for flexible installation, includes 1/2-turn hex key dogging, and is suitable for doors 1-3/4 to 2 inches thick. It accommodates door widths of 24, 36, or 48 inches, with a minimum stile width of 3-35/64 inches (90mm). The push bar projects 2-9/16 inches (65mm) in neutral and 1-7/8 inches (48mm) when depressed. This model features an Aluminum (AL) finish.
