This ALF Mastic Butyl Mastic Foil Tape from Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) is a specialty 17 mil aluminum foil tape coated with a pressure-sensitive, modified butyl rubber adhesive. Measuring 2.88 inches wide and 100 feet long, it offers a metallic finish and provides an instant waterproof grip, achieving a full bond within 24 hours. The tape features a release liner for ease of use and exhibits excellent flexibility without cracking. It is highly resistant to weather, UV exposure, temperature fluctuations, mold, and mildew, and is paintable. With a service temperature range of -20°F to +180°F (-28.9°C to +82°C) and an application temperature range of +35°F to +110°F (-1.7°C to +43°C), it is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This low VOC tape is a LEED points contributor and is tested to UL-723 Seal Class A, meeting SCAQMD Rule 1168 VOC limitations and City of Los Angeles Approval RR#8069. It is designed for use on sheet metal, duct board, flex duct, PVC coated duct, and duct wrap vapor barriers, maideal for general purpose duct joint and HVAC sealing applications.
