Product Overview
The Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) N8224 510 Series carton sealing tape features a rugged 2.3 mil biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film coated with an aggressive pressure-sensitive solvent natural rubber adhesive. This clear tape is engineered for dependable closure of corrugated and linerboard boxes, performing effectively in challenging applications such as high recycled content cartons, rough or ultra-smooth surfaces, and environments with heavy ink coverage, dust, humidity, or temperature extremes. It provides an adhesion of 21-29 oz/in to steel, a tensile strength of 28-29 lb/in, and an elongation of 150-175%. The tape maintains consistent performance across an operating temperature range of +32°F to +120°F. Measuring 48mm in width and 914 meters in length, it is suitable for heavy-duty box sealing and packaging applications exposed to significant shipping hazards and stress. The product complies with the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, CFR Title 21, Subpart B, Par. 175.105 for indirect foodackaging contact, and CID A-A-1684C. This offering includes 6 rolls per case.
